What a wonderful day! We started out at the Calgary Farmer’s Market and got some great meats and produce. We are going to be eating well this week! 😀

Lunch was sort of split in two this week. Part one was Stonyfield vanilla yogurt with some Farmers market goodies: Alberta raspberries and coconut flakes. I had also made some granola last night. so tasty!

Part two was a piece of leftover cheese pizza. I think I like cold pizza better than hot!

My afternoon snack was a banana sandwich, with Dark Chocolate Dreams Peanut Butter. I think this is my second favorite way to eat this PB. (the first is a spoon 😉 )

the Husband and I went out for an absolutely fabulous dinner at the Chicago Chophouse. Best steaks in Calgary! I had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon (I’m loving trying different red wines after Jenna’s tutorials!)

But the highlights of the night were my steak (tenderloin) and the worlds best mashed potatoes. Seriously, I dream about these.

We split a bowl… probably 2/3 for theHusband, and 1/3 for me. I don’t know what they put in these potatoes, but oh.my.goodness they are good. And the steak was excellent as well! 🙂

I am FULL. but a good, so worth it full. I can’t wait until we have something to celebrate again!
